Are you a tech starter or a few years of experience, and want to join the renewables business? Seaqualize is looking for new engineers to join our team to expand our tool fleet with the biggest innovation we’ve made so far: the largest inline Active Heave Compensator in the world, to carefully balance and install next generation Wind Turbine Components offshore.
Recently we developed, together with renowned international offshore installation contractors, our first full scale hook based BHC tool, the Delta600. But we want to go further, and support the general reduction of installation costs for Offshore wind: Built the tool that will help unlock the US market.
Seaqualize develops these lifting tools fully inhouse, and we are about to start with the full engineering process for the next version. For this, we need excellent new concept and structural engineers.
Seaqualize
Seaqualize is a technical innovation & startup lab, located in Utrecht, The Hague and Rotterdam. We are strong in inventing, developing and integrating applications of our patented Balanced Heave technology. All applications of our technology are found at the intersection of mechatronics, hydraulics, pneumatics and control technology. We are a small (9 people) and young company that acts quickly, work pragmatically, and that offers a lot of responsibility and freedom to develop your own ideas, from scratch until offshore proven.
What can you expect from us?
You will be responsible from day 1 for your own projects, and work on topics that are essential for our products and our business Not something that might be built in a few years or end in a drawer: it will definitely be built! As an example: the previous person who started had designed, manufactured and assembled the first 2.5m high prototype after 3 months;
You work together with a diverse, young, smart and driven team;
You work directly with the owners, so no tiring layers of management. We act quickly, informal and easy going.
Although we think self-learning is very important, you work closely together in a team with experienced tech entrepreneurs, people with a total of 30+ years of experience at renowned offshore parties, and 20+ years experience in developing heave compensation.
We do not follow a written process in straight lines, but we think about how we can end up with the best end-product. There is room for everyone's enthusiasm, creativity and craftsmanship, and it is strongly encouraged to come forward with your own ideas and try them out.
