Technical Sales & Marketing Coördinator

To bring our existing machines and new concepts to the market, and let the world know what cool stuff we are doing, we are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and technical (Jr.) Sales & Marketing Coordinator
This can be a parttime summer position, or longer opportunity


Function description

You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, showcasing our technical solutions, advise potential new clients and support them with insights by using all our engineering efforts available. Plus you will be the lead in showcasing our machines online (site, LinkedIn), and find new network opportunities.
Working closely with our business development and engineering team, you will bridge technology and client needs — and will look for ways to tell our story, in our own voice!

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the business development strategy worldwide.
  • Lead efforts to publish cases, examples, questions, surveys etc. online through our Site or LinkedIn
  • Find new sales opportunities by the use of LinkedIn Navigator or other tooling
  • Identify and pursue opportunities in offshore wind, oil & gas, subsea construction, and heavy-lift markets.
  • Monitor market trends, upcoming projects, and policy developments in target markets.
  • Prepare and present technical-commercial proposals together with the rest of the team.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade missions worldwide.
  • Provide regular market feedback to guide R&D and product strategy.

Your Profile

  • Enthusiastic, good in explaining technology in simple terms, excellent listener.
  • Excellent writing skills: efficient, no nonsense
  • Love for pitching / selling / talking about technology
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or Engineering and Maritime Studies with a hint towards the business/market side
  • Good understanding of offshore construction, lifting, or installation equipment is an advantage.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-driven, pro-active.
  • Excellent communication skills in English;
  • Willingness to travel

We are strong in inventing, developing and integrating applications of our patented Balanced Heave technology. All applications of our technology are found at the intersection of mechatronics, hydraulics, pneumatics and control technology. We are a small (17 people) and young company that acts quickly, work pragmatically, and that offers a lot of responsibility and freedom to develop your own ideas, from scratch until offshore proven.
